Dr. Tara Almquist, DAIM, L.Ac. is an in-network provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS).
Susan Beck, L.Ac. is an in-network provider with Aetna.
Coverage for acupuncture varies significantly by insurance plan. Being in-network does not guarantee that acupuncture services are covered under an individual patient’s benefits. We recommend verifying acupuncture benefits prior to treatment.
For patients with out-of-network acupuncture benefits, GenWell may be able to submit claims depending on the patient’s individual insurance plan and provider.
GenWell does not participate with Medicare, Medicaid, or No-Fault insurance. A superbill may be provided upon request when appropriate for patients who wish to seek reimbursement directly from their insurance carrier.
Insurance coverage and reimbursement are determined by each patient’s individual plan. Verification of benefits is not a guarantee of payment by the insurance company.
