Acupuncture, one of, if not, the oldest medicinal treatments available, is so much more than the insertion of very fine, single-use, filiform needles, its an exercise in mindfulness. During the course of a one-hour treatment with me you’re going to practice breathing exercises, guided relaxation, and touch therapy. These techniques coupled with the very powerful physiologic effects of purposefully placed needles can and does improve well-being. Many organizations, including The World Health Organization (WHO), has listed numerous symptoms, diseases and conditions to be treated effectively by acupuncture.

Per the WHO study acupuncture is effective in the treatment of the following:

Chronic and Acute Pain – Injuries, headaches, neck & back pain, tendonitis, sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, fibromyalgia

Neurological Disorders – Post-Stroke recovery, Bell’s Palsy & Trigeminal Neuralgia, movement disorders
